Yokogawa Chooses Integrify OnDemand to Streamline Proposal Approvals and Shorten Delivery Times
Chicago, IL - September 6th, 2006 - Integrify, Inc.®, a leading provider of enterprise request management (ERM) software, today announced that Yokogawa Corporation of America has chosen its Integrify OnDemand solution to automate the approval process for its Project Proposal Group at its Sugarland, Texas facility. The group will be using the request management solution to shorten a complex approval process that often requires multiple signatures that are mandatory prior to beginning work on any project.
"Automating this process will shorten the approval cycle, which means we can start the work faster and offer our customers faster delivery on the finished project," said John Turner, Database Administrator, Yokogawa Corp.
Yokogawa chose Integrify OnDemand after more than two years of struggling to make the workflow management component of a document management system fit their needs and procedures. Lacking a front-end interface and riddled with bugs and defects, the old system had significantly slowed down the projected timeframe for the group's process automation.
After evaluating several alternatives, Integrify was implemented in less than a month.
"With Integrify, there was no development time to use the software; it was a ready start," said Turner. "The front-end interface was very easy to use and didn't require a programmer like our old system did. It was simple to get started and we expect to quickly see a return on our investment."
Integrify is a flexible Enterprise Request Management (ERM) system that allows companies to automate requests and streamline processes. The software provides form creation, routing definition and tracking tools to those responsible for processing requests, minimizing data entry and simplifying requests for approval and fulfillment. Integrify is web-based, allowing for easy user accessibility and management of business processes. The solution eliminates problems typically related to labor-intensive processes such as manual paper handling and email requests, and can reduce costs per transaction 60 to 90 percent as opposed to paper-based processes.
"Although we only have a small group of people using it right now, the big potential is that it will pay us back with the time saved on projects and deliverables," said Turner.
Yokogawa is initially utilizing Integrify to automate eight processes, but hopes to expand it further.
Integrify 4.0, released in June, offers increased flexibility in process management, including enhanced forms management, more accessible reporting, easier-to-manage user interfaces and improved security, integration and system administration features. Integrify OnDemand is a hosted solution that provides the full functionality of Integrify 4.0 without the need to install and maintain software.
