Automate Your Job Posting Process
By Toni Buffa | Published July 25, 2023
Workflow automation can streamline the hiring process by seamlessly managing job postings, allowing external users to apply for available positions, and automating the task routing for HR and hiring managers, resulting in increased efficiency and time savings.
When the time is right to begin hiring at your organization, you want the process to be as seamless as possible. Typically, the hiring process is pretty manual. Emails back and forth, resumes in your inbox, checklists on your desk, and no real organization. While this method might work for some, it wastes time and is inefficient.
This is where workflow automation can help. Workflow automation uses workflow rules to route tasks between people or systems. In this case, it would help with the beginning phase of hiring - job posting.
Integrify has free process apps available for our customers to use. Simply download the process and form, import it into your Integrify instance, and configure your recipients. The images below are the form and process for the Job Posting workflow. This Job Posting Process App is a workflow process that can be linked to your website for external users to fill out. This process will begin when an interested applicant reaches your website and chooses to apply.
You can update the "Position Applying For" field with available positions from the back-end for end users to select and choose from when applying. After the form is completed, it'll be passed to HR for initial approval, routed to a hiring manager, and then back to HR for a final interview screening. This process has configured tasks and notification settings and includes completed email templates with approval display notifications configured.
